contrat de maintenance Stationary control system

More than 3,000 installations worldwide are equipped with a HAULING SYSTEM.

Mining, petrochemicals, metallurgy, steel industry, agricultural cooperatives, cement plants, container terminals, transportation, etc.

Do you want to operate:

  • Railcars at a loading or unloading station, including over a weighbridge.
  • Mine carts, mobile platforms, furnace soles. You want to make your logistics more profitable.
  • By reducing your costs:
Capital expenditure by simplifying your infrastructure (mobile loading and unloading equipment becomes unnecessary)
Operating costs by reallocating qualified personnel previously assigned to maneuvering
Maintenance costs thanks to the simplicity and robustness of our equipment
You will achieve a very quick return on investment.

Une installation de halage est forcément adaptée à votre infrastructure existante.
Nous disposons de trois systèmes complémentaires:

CHAIN-DRIVEN OR SIDE-CARRIAGE

The ends of the hauling cable are connected to a mobile chain that moves along the track to be served. A removable chain must be manually attached on one side to the mobile chain and on the other to the coupling box fixed to the side hook. This allows the hauling force to be transmitted in both directions.

All coupling, uncoupling, and control operations can be performed by a single person.

1) À CHAÎNE OU À CHARIOT LATÉRAL
2) À WAGON POUSSEUR

WITH PUSHER WAGON

The cable is attached to a weighted two-axle wagon that moves along the main track. In cases where automatic coupling is used (depending on the type of hitch), no personnel intervention is required on the track until uncoupling.

This system is suitable for hauling entire trains weighing up to 5,000 tons or more, particularly when the railway ends in a dead end. It is compatible with all track gauges and can be used even when the railway includes curves and switches.

WITH AUTOMATIC CARRIAGE

The ends of the hauling cable are attached to a low-profile carriage, guided either inside the main track, on an auxiliary track, or in some cases, along the rail base. This carriage is equipped with arms fitted with rollers, whose inward and outward movements are remotely controlled—either at predetermined points or at any location via remote control. Clamping one of the wagon’s axles allows the hauling force to be transmitted in both directions. Thus, all coupling and uncoupling operations are remotely controlled, without requiring any operators on the track during maneuvers.
3) À CHARIOT AUTOMATIQUE

These systems are supported by the following common components:

1. A CAPSTAN WINCH

2. A TENSIONING SYSTEM

The counterweight acts on the cable strand between the capstan to create adhesion between the cable and the drum.
This system maintains constant tension in the cable, compensating for variations caused by thermal expansion or mechanical movement.
The counterweight applies a downward force that ensures continuous contact between the cable and the capstan’s traction surface, thereby guaranteeing smooth winding and efficient transmission of traction or braking force.
This device is essential for the proper functioning of lifting systems, catenary tensioning, or power transmission in railway installations.

3. A SET OF HORIZONTAL, VERTICAL, AND DEFLECTION PULLEYS

These pulleys guide the cable along or inside the railway track. Their use makes it possible to control one or several tracks with a single hauling system.
Horizontal pulleys guide the cable in the longitudinal plane, while vertical pulleys enable level changes—particularly in pit passages or elevated sections.
Deflection pulleys are used to redirect the cable at specific angles, depending on the layout of the installation.
Together, these pulleys ensure smooth cable routing, minimize friction, and enable optimal transmission of mechanical force along the entire cable path.

4. AN ELECTRICAL CABINET

It enables continuous control of the hauling process, allowing precise management of the speed and torque of the gear motor.
This electrical cabinet is dedicated to the real-time supervision of hauling operations in railway applications.
It allows for accurate regulation of traction speed and the torque transmitted to the gear motor.
Its role is essential in operations that require continuous monitoring of traction force, ensuring safety, energy efficiency, and durability of mechanical components.

ONE OR MORE
OPERATOR CONTROL STATIONS

Les manipulateurs permettent de piloter l’ensemble des fonctions du halage, à un poste fixe ou radio télécommandé.

De plus, sur demande, il peut lui être attribué d’autres fonctions qui ont pour but d’automatiser votre installation

The installation of a hauling system can be adapted to existing infrastructure, local operating conditions (e.g. hazardous or polluted environments), and the materials being handled.

Feel free to contact us

We can, upon request, make improvements to our hauling systems to better meet your specific needs.

Our installations operate both indoors and outdoors, over distances ranging from 20 to several hundred meters, including in hazardous environments.

Stinger

The STINGER electric shunting system makes it possible to move Alstom tram sets equipped with the STINGER option.

Using specific connectors plugged into the roof of the tram, we supply power to its motor(s) and release the brakes. Then, using a simple control unit, we operate the tram to move it in both directions.

This system consists of the following equipment:

arrow right circle icon A main electrical cabinet
arrow right circle icon A control panel
arrow right circle icon A fully equipped Stinger trolley
arrow right circle icon A power cable with a connector plug (depending on the type of tram)
arrow right circle icon A 24V brake power cable equipped with its fuse
arrow right circle icon 400V and 24V power supply lines (depending on the type of tram)
arrow right circle icon Trolley limit switches, siren, flashing lights, emergency stops
arrow right circle icon A safety lock management system integrated with the underfloor lathe and LAC
